Visiting Puerto Del Carmen

One of the most well-known tourist locations and best holiday spots in Lanzarote, is Puerto Del Carmen. You can catch some live music, or sit along the beach front and watch the sunset in this perfect picturesque spot. Not only this, but you can also enjoy this part of Lanzarote a little further out to sea, through things like cruising, sailing, party boats, island tours, or even snorkelling!


Watersports

Puerto Del Carmen is home to all sorts, from parades, to festivals, and more commonly, sports competitions. The combination of the winds alongside the water, makes it great for watersports. Whether it’s windsurfing, surfing, or paddleboarding, the winds make this the perfect spot to practice and compete.


Culture

As with everywhere in Lanzarote, there is plenty of culture to explore in Puerto Del Carmen. For example, you could try some of the traditional food commonly served in Lanzarote, such as Canarian potatoes with mojo, or grilled octopus. Furthermore, you could even take a trip to the old town where a lot of these foods are served!
